Here’s something interesting. My Ten Hour Guy Google account has 2,463GB of data. This includes the original ten-hour video files I’ve uploaded, but the files created for your viewing (144p, 240p, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p etc.) are completely separate from this.
God knows how much of Google’s storage my channel is using, not to mention the resources required to process all the videos, converting them to various qualities and formats, checking for copyright infringement and stuff like that. Then again, considering how big the site is, I bet it equates to just about nothing for them. Plus, they have got… well… a lot of ad revenue from me. Remember that Google takes a 40% cut!
